Fan Appreciation Day featured sponsor giveaways, great prizes, and other activities where we hoped we expressed to you, our fans, how important you are to our history, our success and our future.
What is the text messaging system?
A text messaging system is in place to enable fans to notify stadium security of any incidents while they are in the stadium. A similar system was successfully implemented by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2007. The teamworks closely with the NJSEA to respond to complaints of improper fan behavior. The NJSEA is proactively monitoring and issuing warnings. Bad behavior will not be tolerated.
To text: Open a blank text message and address the message to 78247. Type the word NJSEA followed by a space, the issue and the location.
What will happen to someone who is ejected from a game?
Any Jets season ticket holder who is ejected from a game will have his/her season tickets revoked. If a non-season ticket holder is ejected, the ticket holder of record will be warned by letter of the incident and informed that a second ejection will lead to the revocation of his/her season tickets. Who can I talk to about special seating requests?
For all special seating requests please contact us at 800-469-JETS.
Can I tailgate?
- The parking lots are open FIVE hours prior to gametime.
- Tailgating has become a ritual at the stadium and is permitted provided guests tailgate in the same space occupied by their vehicle. Please be courteous to your fellow fans -- open parking spaces should not be used for tailgating. The NJSEA and the Jets are actively monitoring all lots with additional security and there are increased patrols to enforce the one car, one spot policy.
- Ticket holders may not reserve adjacent parking spaces for others.
- Tailgating is not permitted in the parking garage which is located next to Continental Airlines Arena.
- If you have a large tailgate party, stadium management strongly encourages you to arrive early and use the grass berms and paved areas on the islands located between the parking lots. This will allow you to fully enjoy your party while being courteous to your fellow fans.
- Grills are permitted for tailgating enjoyment, provided guests do so only in the same space occupied by their vehicle. However, their use near buildings or in areas where guests or property may be damaged is strictly prohibited.
- Please do not discard hot coals near vehicles or in plastic waste receptacles; there have been several car and trash fires over the past few years. For your safety and convenience, hot coal bins have been provided for the disposal of charcoal. These large, orange “hot charcoal” bins are located on the islands/plazas between the parking lots. PLEASE DO NOT DISCARD TRASH IN THE HOT COAL BINS OR HOT COAL ASHES IN THE TRASH CONTAINERS.
- Open fires are not permitted
- Trash receptacles are located throughout the Sports Complex parking lots and near the stadium entrances. Please bag and dispose of your trash to make it safer for vehicles exiting the Sports Complex after the game.
- Outside catering companies are not permitted on the Sports Complex. ARAMARK is the official food service provider/caterer for the Meadowlands Sports Complex. To schedule a catered event, please contact ARAMARK at (201) 935-5660.
- Ball playing in the Stadium parking lots and roadways is a safety hazard and is not permitted. Many injuries occur as a result of these activities.
Are there changes to the Pre-Paid Parking Permit Program for the 2010 season?
Yes, there is a new color-coded parking plan for season ticket holders. Based on your seat location, your Pre-Paid Parking Permit will allow you to park in one of the three new color-coded parking areas. The green colored lots are for Club and Suite seat holders, yellow for all PSL seat holders and orange for all Upper Level seat holders. As in past years, you will need a Pre-Paid Parking Permit to park onsite (both on the stadium and arena side).
In addition, driving to our new home will be faster and easier than ever in 2010"
More Spaces: Once the demolition of the old stadium is completed in August, there will be over 28,000 parking spaces on site. This is a significant increase over the past three seasons.
Better Access: The New Jersey Department of Transportation has doubled the number of stacking lanes for roadways entering and exiting the stadium, decreasing congestion points and improving throughput.
- The parking lots have been newly engineered with both an inner and outer loop road system, creating quicker routes to the green and yellow parking lots.
- Each parking lot has more curb cuts to allow for easier access to the main road system.
Expert Management: Central Parking System has been hired to manage the parking operation on gameday. They have extensive experience at managing sports facilities parking. They have been observing the traffic and parking operation at the Meadowlands for the past three seasons and have recommended many of these improvements
- Following the specific driving routes to your parking areas will increase the ease of reaching the new color-coded parking lots.
Things to Know:
- You will need a Pre-Paid Parking Permit to park at the stadium.
- Satellite parking will no longer be available in Lyndhurst.
- If it is more convenient, green permit holders may park in any lot, and yellow permit holders may park in yellow or orange lots.
- Parking lot toll plazas will open 5 hours prior to kickoff.
- Even with these new improvements, we encourage fans to carpool or take mass transit whenever possible.
- Please be considerate of your fellow ticket holders and adhere to the one car, one space policy.
How much do the pre-paid parking permits cost?
The pre-paid parking permits are available to Season Ticket Holders on a season-long basis for a total cost of $250 ($25 per game) for PSL and Upper Level seat holders and $350 ($35 per game) for Club seat holders. Please contact the Jets Ticket Office for parking prices for limousines, RVs, box trucks, trailers, buses and other oversized vehicles.
When will I receive my pre-paid parking permits?
If you are a Season Ticket Holder, you should have received parking permits for each home game, depending on the number of season ticket associated with your account, in your Season Ticket mailing. Please bring the appropriate parking permit to each home game to ensure access to the Meadowlands parking lots. No parking permit, no parking spot.
Where can I park with my pre-paid parking permits?
Based on your seat location, your Pre-Paid Parking Permit will allow you to park in one of the three new color-coded parking areas. The green colored lots are for Club and Suite seat holders, yellow for all PSL seat holders and orange for all Upper Level seat holders. As in past years, you will need a Pre-Paid Parking Permit to park onsite (both on the stadium and arena side).
You may not purchase more parking permits than you have been allocated. Your permit allocation is based on the chart below.
Parking Permit Allocation:
Club Seat Holders may purchase 1 permit for every 2 seats at a cost of $350 for the season
PSL Seat Holders may purchase 1 permit for every 4 seats at a cost of $250 for the season
Upper Level Seat Holders may purchase 1 permit for every 5 seats at a cost of $250 for the season
Examples:
- If you have three Club seats, you may purchase two parking permits.
- If you have ten PSL seats, you may purchase three parking permits.
- If you have six Upper Level seats, you may purchase two parking permits.
Note: If your account has seats in multiple tiers (Club, PSL and/or Upper Level), your parking allocation is based on the highest level tier of seating.
Can I use My Jets Account to transfer game tickets and pre-paid parking permits?
Yes. You may log on to your My Jets Account and post your pre-paid parking permits for resale along with your regular season ticket. You may also transfer your pre-paid parking permits to family, friends or business associates. Log on to your account at newyorkjets.com and follow the step-by-step instructions.
Where is satellite parking?
There is no longer satellite parking.
How can I gain access to ADA parking?
Ticket holders who have a valid ADA license plate or a valid hang tag AND a Pre-Paid Parking Permit will be directed to park in the ADA parking spaces in parking lots E, F or G. The individual who was issued the valid ADA license plate or ADA hang tag must be in the vehicle. This will be verified by the traffic and parking staff.
Our new parking plan was developed to improve your gameday experience. The planning and operation of the new transit stop as well as the increased highway lanes and roadways were integral parts of our goal to upgrade the least enjoyable part of coming to a Jets game. We are confi dent that these physical improvements will help, but we need your cooperation to make it work. The final demolition of the old stadium will not be complete until right before the regular season, so there will be a learning curve for all of us.
Please call 800-469-JETS (5387) with any feedback or questions you may have about your parking experience.
If I don't want to drive, is there another way to get to the stadium?
Yes, there are two ways:

What is the procedure for requesting items for fundraisers from the New York Jets?
Donation request guidelines are as follows: The New York Jets accept formal requests for the donation of Jets memorabilia for use in charitable fundraising events. Unfortunately, we do not donate tickets to games. In addition, we do not accept items from any person or organization to be autographed. We recognize the importance of all charities and support many nonprofit agencies and community programs throughout the Tri-state area; being a good corporate citizen is important to this organization. Each year, the New York Jets receive thousands of requests from all over the world from organizations seeking donations for worthwhile causes and events -- we strive to accommodate as many requests as possible throughout the year. We cannot always provide the exact donation/item requested but will do our best to provide a donation/item. In special circumstances out-of-state requests will be granted (i.e. professional sports organizations, corporate sponsors, players’ charities and executive charities). Donations include autographed items, giveaways, ad and table purchases. Financial contributions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
What is the time frame for requesting and receiving a donation?
If you wish to request a donation, the following procedures must be used:
Procedure for Donation Request:
All requests must be submitted in writing on the organization's official letterhead at least eight (8) weeks prior to the event.
Letters must contain the date of event, the contact person's name, phone number and street address (no P.O. boxes), an explanation of the benefit or charity event, and a general description of the organization.
In an effort to help as many people as possible, organizations and charities will be considered for only one item in a twelve-month timeframe.
