The New York Jets have waived defensive tackle Simi Toeaina. The announcement was made by general manager Mike Tannenbaum. ‬‪‬‪

Toeaina (6'4", 292) played four years for the University of Oregon after redshirting in 2005. He played in 21 games and recorded 14 tackles during his career with the Ducks.
